Wayne Thiebaud — Cake Window (Seven Cakes), 1970-76, oil on canvas
While researching the history of cakes and cupcakes for a food article, I stumbled upon Mr. Thiebaud's sick paintings from the 70's. Oldies but goodies! His illustrative style is not unlike Martha Rich's, another artist I j'adore.
