The smell of chocolate chip cookies wafting out of the oven conjures up memories of childhood for me. Moms used to bake for us a lot when we were young... guess that's what influenced my current love for baking. An intense craving for the nostalgic treat forced me to whip up an XL batch of the homemade foodstuffs just this past weekend. Thanggawd I did! Instantly, I felt at ease. A sh.tty day became a super-fantabu-awesome day. Freshly baked choco chip cookies really do get me highhhh on life.

I am glad you enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies, SKP! It's always difficult to satisfy people of varying sweet tooths. But I think we have a similar palate... contrary to the masses, we prefer baked goods that are undersweet rather than being overly sweet.
