distasteful?..........tasty.



Scott Hove's Cakeland series consists of "sculptures and installations that look like perfect, delicious cakes... but can never be eaten." Personally, I find this whole series to be gangsta. Guess because I'm tired of seeing prim and proper, pretty cakes. It's just kool how Hove challenges notions of beauty and perfection even in the world of food. Pictured above is Hove's Black Cherry, 2010 [left] and Cakefoot, 2007 [right].
